My car audio system currently has rthese components installed. JL Audio Slash v2 Series 500/1v2 Amplifier driving 2 JL 12W6V2 subs in a sealed box. JL Audio Slash v2 Series 300/4v2 Amplifier bridged for the four door speakers 6 3/4" Pyle Pro midbass in the front doors 6 3/4" Infinity speakers for the rear doors Got a good deal on a box of 200 Onkyo tweeters (used in some GM vehicles) for $10.00 and use a couple in place of the original dash tweeters. I want to upgrade so here's what I plan on doing. I will add a second JL Audio Slash v2 Series 300/4v2 Amplifier and bridge it (they don't make the 300/2 any more) for the rear door speakers and also a JBL MS-8 processor. I have a question. I want to bi amp the midbass and tweeters, but I really don't want a fourth amp. I looked up the processor and it has an 8 channel 20 WPC built in amplifier. Will setting the two tweeter channels to use the internal amplifier of the MS-8 be ok for those tweeters or should I get another amplifier? Another question I have. How will the sound be affected if I put the box to where the subs fire towards the right side of the rear area in my 2005 Honda CRV or to where the fire up on the left side of the rear area? If I can put the box the way I actually want I plan on having an amp rack built and carpeted black like the sub box. It will have the necessary space for mounting the three amps + processor and also it will have a couple sections to hold my bowling ball bag and skate case so that nothing really moves around. For now I simply used two short screws to mount the amps to the box. I can take pictures this afternoon and post them here.
