ive read here & there that a capacitor is now not really an accepted item in a stereo system. my question is why not, when after all these years it was widely utilized. i just wanted to hear some opinions or answers

thanx

ok....thanx for the reply

ive been into caraudio for bout 18 yrs & last time i was setting up a system & since i could remember...a capacitor was all the rave but i also had a red top optima & a ho alternator to go along with it. i guess if its not necessary then ill have to consider that when the cap finally goes bad.

anyways thanx for the reply rather than just telling me to do a search:cool:
