Hi again Fatryan, yes in a way ur right, but dude once the car is on the load is on the alt not the batteries. Adding a second battery will surely be better if ur gonna listen to music while the car is off, cause it will take more time to discharge both of them. And once u turn on the car and now u have 2 empty batteries they will be so hungry for amperes, they will both try to extract as much as possibe from the alt even when ur audio system is off. When a battery is empty it will **** up tooooo much amperes from alt, while charging it will **** up less and less amperes and its voltage will be increasing. Also like u said, now with 2 batteries u will need much more time in order to charge them with the same alt, if ur alt is not able to charge one battery how is it possible to charge 2? I am not 100% sure either but the best way is to change the alt. Dude ur fogetting that when the car is on the battery and the amp are 2 loads, not only the amp. Suppose u have one 100amperes battery, it needs 10amperes from the alt to charge+ur amp needs 40amperes=>50amperes from alt. Now u have two 100amperes, so they need 20amperes from alt+40 amperes from amp=>60amperes from alt. An electrician i know used to repair battery chargers, he told me the charger needs to be able to provide at least 10% amperes from the overall battery ability, and here the chargers only charge the battery in a house, and when we used the battery the charger was off. So a 40 ampere battery needed 4 amperes from the charger.....one time the batt was sooooo empty when we turned the charger on, the charger got damaged because an empty battery sucks out toooooooooooooo much amperes the first few seconds. Its like when u are drawning under water once u get out u just inhale tooooooooooooo much oxygene and then ur breathing rate decreases;)
