This hurts the entire 12 volt industry as far as stores and mom and pop shops go. I think its kind a shitty thing to do. By that I mean walking in, playing with the demo units and asking questions and then buying it online. For the price you are paying them, most of it is because its shipped around, and they pay people to be there to help you. If you came to me and asked almost any question, chances are I have a good answer and can thoroughly explain the reason for the answer. By buying it in a store, you leave with it THAT day, you dont need a credit card, you get a warrantee, you dont get b-stocks or refurbs, you dont have to worry about getting ripped off etc etc. Yes I'm guilty of buying things on the internet, but most of it is things I cant get locally. The internet is really hurting brick and mortar stores. It also hurts installs because of all the information available on it. Now everyone wants to do it themselves. And trust me, I can honestly say I haven't seen one car yet that was even a decent install when they did it themselves. When I do see one, I will shake their hand. Or maybe I just feel the sting that you dont because I'm "in the industry"
