All boxes are made from 3/4" MDF, with high grade adhesive, and sealed with caulking to prevent such air leaks. This is a misconception about a lot of premade boxes.  Research is done to get the specs as close to as many subs as possible, I have heard many enclosures specific to vehicles and subs that dont sound as good as ours. Most one-timers simply do not know how to properly design an enclosure. It may be easy and less expensive to do it yourself, but without experience, you may just get better sound having it done.</p></blockquote><p></p>
