Well, neutral drops, but that will **** up your car.Originally posted by Radar Is there any good way to do a burnout with a front wheel drive, automatic car ? i think it would be fun to try, but i dont want to **** up my car
This is called "neutral dropping". You drive in reverse, throw it in neutral, rev it up, throw it in drive, theres your burnout. I had a nasty one once, smoke was coming in through the AC vents, my whole car filled up.Originally posted by tommyk90 What you could try to do is drive in reverse slowly, but increasing slightly, then put the car into drive, floor it, lock the parking brake, and sit there spinning the tires.
Or you could try it without the parking brake and see what happens. Those are the two most effective ways i can think of, although it's kinda hard in such a big car as yours. Thank god i have rear wheel drive!
You don't necessarily have to put it into neutral. You could drive in reverse, get some speed up, then put it into drive, mash the gas, and pull the e-brake.Originally posted by snova031 This is called "neutral dropping". im not too sure bout this....but....even if u had rwd....and its still an auto....wouldnt u be in the same situation?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gifOriginally posted by tommyk90 Well either way he does it his trans will be tore up.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif That's why it's fun to have rear wheel drive. Burnouts galore.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
No, its completely different because i can brake torque my truck (it's nice having drums in the back). It's like looking at a front wheel drive car backwards, bear with me on this one. You could try spinning a front wheel drives tires in reverse with the e-brake on. It's kinda the same property, except you can control the pressure on the brakes since you are using the front brakes to stop the car. Plus i don't have to neutral drop or anything. I just press on the brakes enough, and put my foot down. It's so much fun.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Of course not when you buy wheels with tires on them already and the previous owner felt the same way about burnouts.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I got some nice new tires for a good price though.Originally posted by khi im not too sure bout this....but....even if u had rwd....and its still an auto....wouldnt u be in the same situation?? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Yeah, i do, but i don't think it's enough to truly affect anything. Drum brakes last much longer than disc brake pads. But like i said you can control the force needed to spin the tires so i can let up on them a little. Plus brake balance is more centered towards the front anyways cause only the fronts have anti-lock. Worthless crap it is anyways.Originally posted by violator5spd as far as i know, all you'll do is burn up your back brakes, but who really needs those?
lol. I can actually do burnouts without brakes. That's kinda fun too, all i gotta do is just mash the gas and burn the tires. And then it kicks into second gear and chirps the tires. I feel hardcore when it does that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifOriginally posted by violator5spd It would be nice if they had an option where you can click a button, and all the braking power is in the front, so the back brakes aren't activated...it could be the "BURNOUT BUTTON" lol
