Because they were highly regarded back when I was still paying attention. I was going to order the p1000.1 originally but I figured since I found the Kenwood on a deal I would at least give it an honest try. I haven't really found much bad about their amps.Replacing my navigation head unit isn't going to be an option. To me that would be the point of wasted money. I have honestly never used a loc and this will be my first time but I guess only I can judge how bad or good it is to me. The way I see it, I can't get worse than what I have now.</blockquote>
