My fiance need a amp for i gave her that one. Today I installed my mb quart q1.1500d and it constantly clips when a hard beat hits even though the sub is crystal clear and no distortion. i tried this with the gain anywhere from 50 to 75 percent and same thing. also it gets warm. my issue is i called maxsonics before i made the switch and they said the q is way better amplifier in a number of areas but honestly i dont see it, first off the clipping makes no sense im not a moron who beats on my audio equiptment, second the hifonics never ever clipped and was always cold. sound wise its very close the mb quarts a tiny bit cleaner and louder but thats not worth clipping. any ideas here? i know wattage wise the q is closer to my sub rating which i figured would be better anyway. but at this point i see not one reason to keep this q amplifier any help would be appretiated
