Brutus 1206D started squeaking today WTF?

I have had a Brutus bxi600d running a Rockford HX2 at 2ohms since 2004/2005? in my Focus and never had an issue with it, it still works great. But this bxi1206d I put in my Mustang only lasted two years; seems like Hifonics quality went downhill at some point. If I buy a new amp, I want it to last longer than 2 years. Especially because I only drive the Mustang in good weather, so in reality the 1206 was barely used compared to the 600.</p></blockquote><p></p>
