I lent my Brother my car today. Unfortunatly the car never made it back. Some Moron drove through a stop sign and t-boned my car at 50km/h. Completely totalled (well, I'm not putting out $3000 to fix a car I paid $1000 for). The guy doesn't have collision on his car so hhis insurance won't cover him. God ****ing **** it.

Yea I got ran off the road about a month ago. Lady took of and I never got her plate and wasn't able to call the cops. So yea my car is sittin at home fu(ked. Lifes a ***** to the people that don't have enough money. But some reason people with money get things free. Why the fu(k does society ******** work like that?

What pisses me off is that the repairs would be $2400, thats almost 2.5x what I paid for the ****ing car.

What brings the price so far up is the headlght assembly, the local bodyshop could only get it if he ordered directly from GM. Normally I wouldn't have a problem, but I've never paid $700 for a headlight assembly, and don't plan to now.

If not for the headlight, the repairs would be less than $1500, actually worth while on this car becaus ethat is the only damage to entire vehicle - the rest of it is just as good as the day it was built.

What really amazes me is, look at how the front fender is crumpled, but the marker light is still in one piece. Why couldn't the rest of the car be built like that.

This is what i did when i had my accident. Check out ebay. The dealer here sells an unpainted hood for $350....then id have to pay for paint and labor. I found a brand new one already painted on ebay for $150. That saved me like $300 right there. So id check out ebay and also try to find a forum thats made for your car. I have a 99 grand am gt...so I went and posted on a Grand Am GT forum to try to find my parts. Fortunately insurance was covering it....so it wasnt a huge deal if i found them or i would have tried harder. What im saying is...you could probably knock that price down to half of that. Good luck.
