[QUOTE="luap, post: 493640, member: 551812"] When I was in the process of purchasing the amp I figured I could do just that, hook up each 4 ohm coil to each separate channel but when I started reading the manual, I got sidetracked. Everything they show pertaining to a mono connection requires bridging the amp to a 4ohm load. I got obsessed with wondering if I'd fry the amp if I wired the voice coils in parralel (2 ohms) or if I wouldn't have enough power if i wired the voice coils in series (8 ohms). I'm in the process of wiring the voice coils in series. If it sounds ok I'll leave it that way. If it doesn't, I'm planning on doing exactly what you suggested (voice coil per channel). Thanks.
