Will this really hurt the performance of the sub?As for the 8s I dont know what size they require, but a but I can only get .74 cubic feet per 8".  I am looking for nice tight bass. I am not too worried about it booming, I just want something that will be nice and smooth. Do you think these box sizes will work?</p></blockquote><p></p>
