I have two pioneer premier 12" shallow mount subs. I custom built a downfire box to fit in my 2007 jeep wrangler jk 4 door. (diminsions 32"L by 16"W by 18"H) They sound like they are possibly double hitting and muffled. I believe i may have to much air space but not sure. I would like to rebuild a box but not sure of the best size for premium sound. I usually keep the top off my jeep so its usually wide open in the back. I also push these two 12's with my JL audio 500/1 amp. Any sugestions on proper box size and type would be greatly appreciated. If there is any additional information needed i would be glad to give it. Specifications: Watts MAX. Music Power 1400 Watts Watts Nominal Power Handling 350 Watts Frequency Response 18 ~ 1,000Hz Sensitivity 88dB Ohm Rating 4 Recommended Enclosure 0.5 ~ 1.0 Cubic Feet Dimensions 13" x 3-7/8" Mounting Depth 3-1/4"
