Tried to get it into the trunk... no good. Removed the spare and had this big gap now and wedged the box in even better now. In fact.. it is almost in I just need  about an inch or so more space to fit it. There is this metal arch that the spare screws down into that is pretty much blocking everything and I don't know how to cut it out or if it is a good idea to even cut it out. I have a 99 Grand AM GT and I was pretty sure this box was going to fit... is it a reasonable idea to cut the box then reassemble it inside the car?</p></blockquote><p></p>
