[QUOTE="muzik, post: 4221852, member: 588273"] i picked up a crunch amp and a soundstream pcw-12 for my explorer. reason being i only buy 1 sub is im just looking for some nice clean bass to add to my 4 new infinity door speakers and to save space in my truck. i used to be into car audio big time in late 90's early 2000's here in vegas, all competition db drag with fosgate so i know a little but not much about box building design and knowing how to build a tuned box for your sub, being able to capture the best possible performance is what im looking to do with this 1 sub. i listen to mostly rock and on occasions some r&b/pop/rap if im rolling with my girl . the recommended box design says sealed @ 1.25-3 cu.ft. how big(cu ft)would the box be if i wanted it a ported box or bandpass? which box design sound better for my application? looking for some educated guidence here, so i appreciate all suggestions. oo and BTY im a carpenter so nothing is to crazy or out of my capabilities to build! Thanks guys, Lukas [SIZE=14px]Amp spec.
