Message: <blockquote data-quote="linvillegorge" data-source="post: 2294384" data-attributes="member: 561434"><p>What are you building the box out of?  I've never heard of anyone staining MDF.  I suppose it's possible, but I don't know how it would turn out.  Just beware that it'll really soak up a lot of stain!  I've painted MDF boxes before and it usually requires 2 coats of primer and then 2 coats of paint.  You gotta lay it on thick!  Post pics if you try it!</p></blockquote><p></p>
