Dont use liquid nails .  I use brads to hold it together for the glue to dry . I still use drywall screws for making sure the box wont come apart . If your building a box for spl , double face the box , 45 all your corners. Brace . I have built tons of boxes from sealed to ported ,from all mdf to all fiberglass .
