Alright, i have a tough one. I have a dodge intrepid, and the speaker shelf hangs pretty low. It gives me 14.5" between the floor and the bottom of the shelf. I just bought an idq 15 which has the specs here: http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/tech_page.php?name=IDQ15D2%20V.2&type=sub&id=idq http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/spec.php?type=encspec&id=IDQ15D2%20V.2 I wanted to do about 2.5 cuft gross with a 4" port like they recommend. That isn't one of the three choices, so about how long should the port be? I am fairly sure about the round port since it takes up so much less space than a slot port, and the idq isn't a rediculously high excursion driver. The biggest challenge is fitting a 15 in the aforementioned space. What i thought is that i could have the box come out a little in front of the shelf, and then double the face so i have a little more room for the speaker to taper in. The cutout is less than 14" so this should work. Any suggestions? Thanks!
