Thanks! We came up with some ideas for finishing up the interior that I think will really pull everything together nicely. Thanks same here lol! We ripped everything back out and started over in the cab. The first go around was a great trial. We learned a lot about what needed to be stiffer and what needed to be redone to make beauty panels a little easier on us. It’s getting there! The base structure of the two side walls, rear wall, and floor is mostly done. A lot of areas are double layered and a few more braces are left to add. Everything is extremely stiff now! Shouldn’t have any flex issues anymore New side wall sub-base. 1.5” thick everywhere. Glued and screwed. We wanted to go with less of an angle for the side walls so gravity isn’t pulling the top of the amps down as hard as the first go around. We just need to attach the top of the wall to the roof. Then we will build a secondary structure surrounding the amp then the beauty panels will attach to the secondary structure. Messed around with some steel rivnuts. These things are awesome and will be used in a lot of other areas. We bolted in a couple framing brackets to stiffen up the center of the rear wall. We will also be connecting the rear wall to the roof which should stop all of the flex. We still need to build the area in front of the floor that will house the battery and some fuse blocks. The main beauty panel that covers the majority of the wall will be wrapped next black vinyl. Then the 2” lip around the amp will be a press fit panel in white flock (similar texture to suede) that will make the amps look flush mounted. Should really help make the black amps pop! I think it’s going to turn out really clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
