Hello, I'm new here and also new to the audio world so please excuse the stupid questions that I may have. And believe me I have plenty. I am in the proccess of installing a Kicker ZX 700.5 amp and two MTX 10" marine free air subs in my boat. My head unit is the factory Sony CDX-L510X. "I know it's not the greatest" but I can't change it with out changing all the wired remotes through out the boat. There are also 4 factory Sony XS-MP61 6.5 marine speakers. These are rated at 80 watts and 20 watts. The existing speaker wire that was run on the boat is either 16 guage or 18 guage. Is this enough wire for what I am looking to do? I know I will need to run bigger wire for the subs but will this work for the 4 Sony speakers? Thanks for any help.
