Two of my favorite movies have a majority black cast, I'm not sure about direction/production though. 1. Glory - Denzel & Morgan - Probably in my top 10 movies of all time a great story about the first black troops to fight for the U.S. 2. Rosewood - Ving Rhames in a sad movie about a racial massacre in a small town in FL. What about the comedy genre: The first two Friday movies, The Kings of Comedy, Bootycall, How to Be a Player, Scary Movie (1st two)... I will agree with your point that over the last 3 years or so most black movies have stunk it up but Samuel L. Jackson, Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman are three of the best actors in Hollywood. Jamie Fox in Ray was one of the best selling movies last year. Oh I can't forget Hotel Rwanda that is one of the best movies I've seen in a while
