I really think you need to go to the store and spend a GOOD amount of time with each phone to make a decision. When I was planning on switching from VZW to ATT I played with the Iphone 3g and the Blackberry Bold, about 40 minutes a piece (I like to make sure I make the right decision!) and it came down to the fact that I just loved typing on the Blackberry compared to the Iphone. I can't see myself typing emails and long texts and enjoying it on the Iphone. Yes, it's not too difficult to type on the Iphone, and I have a Samsung Omnia touch screen phone at the moment, but I get tired of typing on the screen. The Blackberry Bold's screen is also beautiful, and movies look great on it, better than the Iphone 3g. I would say if you're debating between the two, you should also consider whether or not you want a phone for downloading games and just fooling around with something cool to waste time and such, or have a phone which is arguably more customizable and more messaging focused. I love touch screen phones, but I really don't mind the Blackberry Bold, because the interface is very easy to navigate through, and you can't beat the track ball!
