Just to introduce myself, if you know of Sampson round here, i'm one of the guys who's been helpin him work on his shit. Otherwise, I'm kind of new to doing this stuff solo. Helped my cousins for a few years with their systems, but never got deep into it all. Alright, to the help. I have an 81 Cutlass, and have so far replaced the 3.5s (120w Legacy) in the front. Yeah I know, nothin special, but not really into cutting the car up to fit bigger speakers or anything at the moment. The dilema I'm having is the fact the rear speakers are mounted under, what I'm calling a head rest, in the back. I've sadly now found they are 4x10s, and stock. They sound decent, but of course I want to put something better in. Where I need the help is, if anyone knows of any flat 3-way 6x9s or even 4x10s. HIGHLY doubting there is any of these, and no doubt it'd kill the sound mounting them under, but at the moment as I said, i'm not too keen into cutting up the car yet. If it really comes to it, I will cut holes in the plastic and just drop em in and put covers on em, cause I love the look of my car. I recently found out the paint job and interior were custom ordered, and i've never seen a car that looks like mine (ask sampson). So any ideas are highly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time for any help.
