So i decided to buy an 1000 watt amp kit. Hooked it up and it didnt hit as hard. Is it because i twisted the in line fuse holder into the power wire and taped it? Do i need to solder the in line fuse holder wire into the power cord? I beleive its not getting enough current because the in line fuse holder and the power cord arent connected properly. Any advice on whats causing it to "muffle" the bass when i upgraded the wire would be appreciated
ok my amp pushes 700 watts to my woofer and i bought a really cheap 240 rms amp kit from walmart. the rca's are excellent quality. When i play bass heavy songs loud for a long time my amp cuts off then i have to cut off the head unit then cut it back on to get the amp back on.....i think its because the wires to small. On my cheap walmart ampppp kit the fuse holder came already in the power wire. Any advice on whats causing it to "muffle" the bass when i upgraded the wire would be appreciated
