Alright guys. Here is the deal. I currently have one 12" 2005 Kicker CVR in a 2.0cf (after displacement) ported box tuned to 34 hz powered by a BX1000D at 2 ohms. It sounds good to be and gets loud, but it is my first system and I am just itching for more. Im sure you all know what I am talking about. Anyway, I am a poor college student and don't have the money to throw into a sub like a RL-P or SX. I am looking to get my system louder. I personally enjoy the way my CVR sounds, which I guess leads me to believe SQ isn't a huge thing for me... I am not going to be competing. Again, this is going to be a daily driver only system. I listen to all rap and hip-hop if that matters. Are there any subs out there that are not rediculously expensive that would get more musically loud than my cvr does off of a bx1000d? Thank you. Also, would I be better of just getting another CVR and doing a dual ported trunk system?
