I'm looking at running two batteries and was wondering what batteries you guys would recommend. Not sure if I need two of the same batteries or what. I'm guessing this is the best thing. I don't a lot about batteries or how to do a dual battery setup. I also need help with a wiring diagram I think i understand but just would like clarification. Some background info. I'm running around 1200 Watts Rms on one amp. I'm also running two VIAIR 480 compressors for my air suspension. I believe my alt has been upgraded to 180 amps. Forgot what it was but it has been upgraded. The big 3 is complete with all 1/0 wire. This is on a 97 S-10 2.2L. Looking at running one battery in stock location under the hood. The second battery would be mounted near the front of the bed of the truck. The amp and compressors would run off second battery and the stock items off the battery under the hood. Does that sound good? Thanks for any and all help. If you need any other info just ask and I'll get back asap.
