[QUOTE="drkodin, post: 82695, member: 545032"] i agree with you 100%. but that was not the point ofthe thread. under $150 was the goal. i still think you are talking about the other Bahn subs. all the examples you have given keep talking about SPL. the model i am talking about has absolutely nothing to do with SPL. you are correct here. resale value sucks. but the resale on a ferrari is pretty bad too (no one wants to buy a used ferrari, if they got the money they will just buy a new one). I know it is a VERY bad example, just trying to point out resale doesn't mean that much, to some people at least. i take great offense to this. the man asked for suggestions. i gave him a suggestion, that was it. just because you have had problems in the past doesn't make the bahn subs bad. i would like to point out the fact that before you ever responded that i already had one person in agreeance with me on the bahn subs. don't try to put the blame on me for those people leaving. if they left, it was their own choice. they shouldn't have been influenced by anybody to do so. The only reason i have been arguing with you is that the same **** names keep coming up in all threads. I have had a great experience with the ALUM Q, it has performed beyond my expectation. but if people only buy adire, JL, ED, etc (the brands that keep coming up in every single thread) then no one ever experiences alternatives. now don't get me wrong, those brands are great companies, but there is more out there. i mentioned the Bahn so that it would give him another choice, the more choices the better. Lastly, why did you get so worked up over this? it is an argument, nothing more. you can't really expect to go on a forum and have everybody agree with you every time right? if you didn't want to continue the conversation anymore, why didn't you just stop? why did you have to publicly announce that you would not be posting any more? if you would have just stoped posting, everybody would have gotten the point. so, anyway, back to the topic. the Audiobahn ALUM12Q i mentioned can be had for $129. they have performed well for me, but i guess not as well for some other people. try them if you would like, i PERSONALLY don't think you will be disapointed.
