Its not the fact of me having to pay the money for the amp. It's what it will do to my electrical system. I just got a new car and don't want it to strain it at all. I will be running a JBL 600.1 for my sub. Say I was to get the JBL 80.4...how many amps would that draw?? How would having both those amps run on my electrical system do? Thats the reason i was saying I don't want to amp them. I'm not looking for extremely great sound.....just good sound with no distortion. So please don't say get an amp. Sp do you guys think that those cheap Pioneers would cut it...or no?? Leave me some feedback Wolfey: I love the w6v2's. Unfortunately i could never hear them at full power with a 1200.1 because my car couldn't handle it. I had the gain at about half all the time and they pounded. With my old subs...people would say they could hear me coming down the street....with these subs people say they could hear me from blocks away...and that was in a 94 buick regal which has a thick trunk....imagine that in a small car. Because I got a new car...I am selling one of them and just running one off of a JBL 600.1 so it doesnt damage my electrical system. I paid $320 for mine at a local shop...I am willing to sell one if anybody is interested. I have 1 offer for $200 + shipping. Let me know.
