I noticed that quite a few people mentioned Bone Thugz N Harmony... I couple of years ago, I would have agreed with that, or atleast to some extent But when you actually listen to what they say, it's garbage. Their style is nice, but... I'll use E1999 for my example, 85% of the songz on there say the same thing over and over and over. "Kill a n*gga this, kill a n*gga that". Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but uh...aren't they black? Why is killing your own people something to be proud of, to the point that you constantly remind people that that is what you do on almost every song? Or killing any race of people for that matter? What happen to the days when that was the reason that you WOULDN'T want to be associated with the person/people claiming that? Even on their Art of War cd on the track Vibe, that I like for the most part. I figure that track is one that you could just sit and, "vibe" to. Dance, chill, or whatever. But even songz like those aren't exempt from bullshit like this... Who could it be, nuthin' but them T. H. U. G's with artillery, we come in peace? n*gga please! Freeze, put'em on they knees, and n*gga don't even breath, cuz here come them warriors, killaz, destroyers, Ya gonna die..... [chorus] Wtf? Now, if you your judging by what group can rhyme about killin' people the best, then they're up there. I can see why parents don't want their children listening to that garbage. Not only is it destructive, it's WAY to repetative in songs these days. It seems like the new goal in Hip-hop is to compete to see who can talk about murder, drugs, and destruction the best. There are very few 'rappers' that I've heard that had any depth to their lyrics. LYRICIST, especially a group of them, are WAY to few and far in between. Furthermore, they probably make the KKK proud. It makes their job a lot easier when we take pride in killing our own people.. ...IMO
