Hey guys! What's going on? Alright, well right now I have a single 12" CVR D4 in a 2.0 ported (after dis) tuned to 34 hz. It sounds good and gets loud, but I am looking for more. I probably won't be upgrading soon (probably not until a few months or next summer), as I am leaving for college in a week, but I am always looking at the classifieds to see if I can cop a good price. Basically, I am trying to figure out what you guys think the best option for me is to do with my trunk. The dimensions of my trunk are: 14" high x 36" wide x 36" deep, so I can fit a pretty good sized box in it, however I cannot fit a 15" sub, unless it is upwards firing. My amp is a Hifonics BX1000D Would my best option be to cop another used Kicker CVR D4 and build a new box and run them at 1 ohm off of my BX1000D? Or would I be better just buying a different 12" such as a Type-R What do you guys think would be the best bet for a trunk system? I won't be competing, so Im worried about "loud to the ear" not "loud to the mic" Thanks.
