My buddy has a 2011 Toyota Tacoma and we just installed a new headunit and now looking to install some speakers. He has the standard cab 2 door. According to crutchfield the car comes stock with 6x9's but with the brackets built into the speaker so they say when you replace in order to fit an aftermarket bracket you need to reduce to a 6.5 or even 5 1/4. He will be running these off headunit amp, no external so we can't get something that requires that much power and his budget is about 100. What would you guys suggest?
