It's not dirty power either, it sounds better than my Polk (Same as a 900.4PPI) and the DD D5.1000 amp it replaced in my truck, and very comparable to my old Aura MR4150Q (Which was one hell of an SQ amp back in the day).

There isnt an Amp dyno of the 1500.1D on the net, but my birth sheet says 1642 at 1ohm at 12.6V at 1%THD. I also have an Orion XTR1000.1D which has a birth sheet that states 1095@1ohm 12.6V, this is more comparable to your P1000. This isn't a knock at all on the P1000, or 900.4. I think those boards are **** good, which is why I have one in my boat and I have no problem recommending any of those amps that use that board (NVX, Soundstream, PPI, Polk, Hertz etc..).

[QUOTE="bigblank69, post: 8577471, member: 571469"] I am not sure I am following you here... Are you talking about the Orion 1000.4 like I am or my 1500.1D? Too my knowledge no one has dyno tested a XTR1000.4 and it's not 1ohm stable, I did see a 4 channel HCCA tested on PASMAG and it was pretty **** positive. If we are comparing the ZAPCO ST4XSQ. the price difference is $20 not $100.. Its rated at 975 @ 2ohm at 12..6V 1%THD... I'm willing to bet money it will perform better than the p1000 on amp dyno at any ohm load.
