I've heard plenty of idmax's and they are pretty loud.. with only 1000w too.. but i've only heard them in ported boxes so that's probably why..also, try putting the crossover a little higher as you might of put it too low.. start with 80 hz.. make sure your gains are set correctly.. 3/4 gain might be too much depending on the amp..
