OP, as Alpine said before me, I also lost my Dad to cancer. I watched a grown strong man become a skeleton. My story is very similar to Alpine's with exception to the amount of time I had with my Dad before his death. My Dad lasted 3 years after his prognosis. I wished then that my Dad would have been spared those long days of pain. I would give ANYTHING to have one more minute with him today. So you will have to forgive me if I seem hostile towards you. Grow the fuck up bro! You only get one Dad. He will not be here forever. You have to make each and every day the best day you have ever had together. If you want to show him that you truly care, you will not out him in front of other family members. You should ask him to go for a walk, go fishing, or where ever you like to have a private talk about your concerns. The way you approched this is why he blew up. I understand that your heart was in the right place, you just were not using your brain. That is part of being in your 20's.
