I upgraded my stock battery to a batcap 2000 and I gained quite a bit of voltage. You aren't even seeing 1200w right now because of impedance rise, you are probably seeing something closer to like 800w, in which case you don't need to worry too much about beefing up your electrical. But, if you are going to run any sort of system over 1kw, I would upgrade your front battery just for the sake of having a battery that better fits the application.
