Message: <blockquote data-quote="nebraskaz71" data-source="post: 1869760" data-attributes="member: 554547"><p>Hey, I just put a optima redtop on my 98 gmc sierra and I had a question.  My old battery was side posts only so my starting cables and my stereo/alarm wires are all on the side posts.  The optima battery says only mount the starting cables on side posts and then put accessories on the top posts.  For now I mounted it all to the side posts but should I put new end on my stereo power wire and move it to the top post or doesn't it matter?  Also is the foam wrap needed around the battery that comes on the vehicle from the factory?  Thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
