I just have to get in on one of these threads because I feel as though there are more people on here than not who actually do bump irresponsibly. Now what the people who do open their mouths on here, and shut everyone else down, do not understand a lot of the time is that not everyone is into car audio for competition purposes. There are a lot of us who put subs in our trunk for the sole purpose of hearing and feeling the bass in our music....really making it come to life. Now, I am all up for listening responsibly, but I think that you all take it a bit too far. I am not going to bump my shit in a neighborhood at 2 in the morning, but when I am driving around during the day, I am going to listen to my music at a volume I like to hear it at, and if others hear it too, oh well. There are issues that people have brought up such as motorcycles, and lawnmowers being louder...and guess what? they are! When people on here say that bumping loud is going to cause ticket prices to rise and such....I think that we have to also look at the flip side of things, the more people bump.....the more socially acceptable it becomes. There was a time when motorcycles caused an uprising in society, but after many years that has changed and there are not nearly as many complaints. Car audio is still in its first years and we must understand that....when a new element is added to an environment it is rejected at first, until its surroundings learn to accept it. Now I am not trying to flame, and say hey....go turn your shit up as loud as you can all the time, but I think that there are issues nobody has brought up due to fear of rejection by the more respected members, and they need to be boiled to the surface. So...if anyone else on here has a responsible argument as I feel mine was then please bring it up so that we can all see every side of the matter at hand. Do not just yell out of your *** though please...it accomplishes nothing at all. -chris
