Hopefully one of you can help me with this problem. So far it has happened to me twice. Both times I was playing a song with a significant amount of bass (although the volume was not set extremely loud) and all of the sudden it seemed as though the amp/subwoofer just stopped working. I don't know if this was a safety mechanism that could happen when the amp gets overloaded or something along those lines. When it occurred, there was no bass except what was coming from my tweeters and door speakers. Roughly 5 minutes later, the bass just kicked back in like nothing was wrong. All of my connections are solid as well. I have a Crossfire VR401 amp hooked up to a Crossfire P1 15" woofer. I used a line output convertor that ties into my rear 6x9 factory speakers because my factory deck doesn't have RCA connections. Everything was connected with an 8 gauge Monster wiring kit. Let me know if you need anymore information and thanks for your help.
