Message: <blockquote data-quote="Jameseypoo" data-source="post: 3176489" data-attributes="member: 552722"><p>I was a bartender for awhile, no longer do it because I hated getting out at 4 in the morning on weekends.  I would recommend not going to the bartending schools.  When people would apply that went to bartending schools, the bar manager didn't even call them back.  There is no shortcut for experience.  If you don't have any experience, a lot of places will start you off as a server or possibly a bar back.  I'd say do it if bartending is really want you want to do.  I honestly just hated getting off of work so late.  Other than that, it was a blast.</p></blockquote><p></p>
