[QUOTE="Johnniz, post: 8128899, member: 655488"] Hi. I recently installed my first car audio system successfully. However my amplifier wiring kit did not include any type of connector or terminal to fit the binding posts on my sub. I just stripped the wire and tightened the binding post and it works like a charm. I did notice that a couple of strands of the speaker wire broke off as i tightened (probably too tight). I`ve later read that 99% of all binding post type of connectors on sub-woofers and speakers are possible to connect via a banana plugg. Attaching those would be a hell of a lot more practical when i need the boot space and removing the sub, and a better connection I imagine (regarding corrosion and retaining alle the copper strands in the speaker wire) What are your thoughts??
