[QUOTE="pickup1, post: 2047583, member: 562885"] just switched out my rockford with a nine.4,and getting more engine noise and a bad turn off thump. i moves my rca's away from power wires the best i could. regrounded my ground. but heres a quirk,i have a pathfinder,in the back, behind the seat, over the fenderwells,i mounted 1 amp on 1 side and the other on the other side. 2 ground points, should i try to ground them all in the same spot? it didnt do it with the rockford either. i just got both amps friday, used from the sale section, but only 4 months old! thanks for the help.the rca's are pretty new also. does it sound like a ground loop?
