If you're looking for a denon receiver, there is a 4306 for sale for $650 on videogon. Beautiful unit, and has hdmi as well. Retailed for around $2000. http://cgi.videogon.com/cgi-bin/cl.pl?rcvr71ch&1240348794 With a $6000 budget, I would look into getting a separate pre amp/processor and amp set up over a receiver. If you really want to stay with a receiver, then I would say look into Integra(Onkyo's upper line) or Rotel's line of receivers. Here's a rotel RSX 1057 for $650 - 5x75watts, does 7.1 and has hdmi http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?miscrcvr&1241676451&/Rotel-RSX-1057-surround-receiv Here's a rotel RSX 1067 for $695 - 7x100watts does 7.1, but no hdmi. If you want to go separates here's Rotels top processor the 1098 and their big 5 channel amp for about $2000 total.
