The alt has been kicking *** so far. I didn't realise how bad my old alt was. All the lights in my dash looked like they were going out before and now they're all very brite. The overall performance of my car increased a little. I was having trouble charging my bat with my old alternator and now the battery gauge on my dash is showing higher than it's ever been before. I'll know about the performance of it better after I get my other amp in. The coolest thing about the alt is the adjustible regulator. I can set the voltage from 13.5-22 volts by a turn of a knob. The bad about that is anything above 14.7 volts will fry my car. I'm worried about taking it to a repair shop and having them mess with that knob. I plan on writing a review. The only bad thing about it is it was getting really hot. Hot to the touch. I'm not sure if alts usually do this because I haven't noticed it before. Anyways, my old alt was shot. when I took it out the plastic where the pos wire goes to the alt was melted. The nut was actually welded to the bolt. I'm not sure how long it would last but it looked like it was going to go out.
