They are loud, and have good sound quality. I will be competing this yr with them. A friend of mine is running 2 AWC12 subs with a high current audiobahn amp, they go boom but I like the way my 10's sound better, more accurate bass and a lil deeper bass, although his may be just a lil louder, but with more distortion, mine has pretty much no distortion. If you want boom with a lower cost go with the AWC's but if you want booooom, and pay some more get the ALUM12's they will impress ya. by the way im all for sound quality, and in my opinion, it can be loud and booming and everyone in town can hear it but if its distorting it isnt worth crap, and isnt fun to listen to, a good quality bass will impress people alot more than a lound nasty sounding boom.

[QUOTE="delarama, post: 3560, member: 540937"] I agree with Loneranger. I am a big Audiobahn fan. I am running 2 ALUM10x subs and I am pushing them with a Soundstream Lil Wonder 4 Channel amp, the subs are bridged and I am using channels 1 & 2 for one sub and 3 & 4 for the other.
