RE would have a bad rep of shitty SQ too if they put all of their speakers in prefab bandpass boxes. I have never run my 05&#039;s or suggested running any med to high end speakers at thier rated because they are supposed to go in ported boxes and that would destroy them becuase i make the boxes as big as possible. But the speakers can definately take the rms heat wise. I have never had a failure of any speaker and i have had two of these speakers for over a year.</p></blockquote><p></p>
