I used to have an 88 SE-V6 that I loved, **** near bullet-proof. I had problems with my switch too, I bought a new one and it only lasted about a year and a half. They are easy to fix though, you can pry off the cover where the contacts are and figure out which one is for the light you need to fix. Then you can bend it so that it makes a connection, it takes a bit of playing to get right but it will last nearly as long as a new switch. Just make sure you turn it on and off a few times to make sure it's bent right or you could end up with the same problem or the light won't turn off.</p><p></p><p>Truck and everything you've done looks great so far, keep it up!
