Those subs are capable of putting out a decent amount of bass but if you starve they're gonna sound like crap. They need at least 800-1000 rms each. When I upgraded my amp (to an exile xi1500) I was amazed with how much of a difference it made. If you want those subs to pound, like they are capable of, spend some money and give em what they need.I've seen these subs go for upwards of $300 each and as low as $150. I don't know what you paid for them (even on the low end that's $300 for the pair) but don't go budget on the amp or you're going to be unhappy.</blockquote>
