First of all, I know I'm stupid for running my Zx2500 on stock electrical.... But heres the situation; I set my gains low enough to not have major voltage drops until I get a second battery. But I was driving and bassing when I got to a stop light and my subs started going quieter, I was like "wtf", so I looked at my voltage meter on the dash and it looked like the battery was at about 9 volts. I immediately turned it down and once I started driving again and the battery volt meter went back up to 14 volts. Then I started bassing again and one of the subs wasnt working. I'm pretty sure its blown because it smelled horrible like burning voice coil, and smoke was coming out of the port. I get home and I pulled both subs out and I wired one sub to 2 ohms, so I would have bass for the time being while I was replacing the other sub. It wasn't nearly as loud as I thought it would be, then I turned it off and went to look at the box and that other sub was smoking.... Wtf!!! Now whenever I turn it on, neither subs move and the amp light stays Green as in its working fine. Both subs are 4 Ohm DVC, I had it originally running both subs at 4 ohms. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
