[QUOTE="Croby95, post: 8281498, member: 661731"] 2003 Acura RSX Type S, stock Bose amp bypassed so HU now powers speakers instead of Bose amp Before, my remote wire was only getting 3 volts at the amp terminal (according to best buy guy, dont own voltmeter), so the amp wasn't powering on. To troubleshoot this, i bought a brand new hifonics amp, and a new jvc HU but neither of those did the trick. I moved my ground (AGAIN) and also installed a relay to the remote wire and the amp now powers up, but I have no output. Amp settings are all the way down but i did fiddle with them and still had no sound. Tried new RCA cables, new remote wire, both head units that i have, both hifonics amps (yes, they both power up), so i guess the only thing it could be is that the subs are blown? They are definitely wired correctly at 1 ohm (amps are 1ohm stable) and all the connections inside the box are solid. If someone (or many ppl) could please confirm they're blown that'd be awesome. The subs sat in my garage (humidity cause water damage? idk) for about a month because i sold my base rsx and bought my current car a month later. Amp sat in garage too but it powers up...soooooo:confused: Both subs and amp worked flawlessly in base rsx prior to sitting in garage. Any help is appreciated!
