as my head unit sucks ( sony = I hate your guttz ) and gives off small hot dog dicks for power thru rca cables to my amps and this causes me to turn the gain up on the amps more than nessary to get "loud" - and I just now noticed this after installing my component speakers and I hear a constant "hiss" coming from the small tweets. it was not verry noticable at all realley when I had cheap *** co ax's in before but now with the nice component speakers in - its now a problem. my local stereo guy says that I need a eq that gives off at least 5 volt/watt? thru the rca cable outputs to the amp - and 9v out would be titts. then I can properly set the gains on amps to get rid of the constant hiss coming from the tweets ( that is also present when music is on pause ) note - this is not noise coming from engine - its not a whine and it does not differ in rpm of engine either- its just a constant low level hiss, like tv fuzz. so I managed to find this one on the ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching&item=370124601685&viewitem= is it a piece of crap ? not worth my time ? if so - can yall point me in the right direction of a OK one to get under a hundred bux ? thanks all. im still verry new at all this - but im trying to soak it all up quickly.
